They've done some major work, but sometimes it's the little things that make a difference. Table with coffee/tea needs - sugar, cups, etc.- but no coffee or water in the pot; no breakfast offered. Empty ice tray in freezer, nothing in room, even salt and pepper. Folks arrive late night, no way to get snack or food for breakfast. We were promised special treat for birthday dinner, but nothing done or said. And, they spelled Caribbean wrong on their website! We found a good set of photos of Bungalow on the Bay St Croix USVI which provide a nice snapshot of this great laid-back beach resort on St. Croix island.  Take a look around and then plan your trip! Affordable cabins with a wonderful view. The breakfasts were excellent with made-to-order eggs from friendly staff. There is recreational equipment. The pool is nicer than the website photos.

 There is a nice selection of lovely little bungalows on the water in St. Croix USVI called Bungalows on the Bay St. Croix . This resort is located at the Chenay Bay Beach area on the east side of STX island. Here are some photos of the ocean view from the cottages.

Many travelers to the Caribbean have a picture in their mind of the perfect holiday:  a cozy bungalow right on the beach ! There are a number of cottage resorts in the Caribbean which offer these.  As you know, we've already features Bungalows on the Bay St Croix and their selection of about 40 cottages. Today we'll feature another resort called Cottages by the Sea in St Croix that also offers bungalows on the beach .  They offer about 23 bungalows, some right on the beach and some a bit back. When doing research on Caribbean offerings for bunglows on the beach or on the water, we came across this interesting resort offering Bungalows on the Water Virgin Islands .  It's called The Bitter End and its located in the BVI.   While we prefer our "hometown favorite" Bungalows on the Bay St. Croix particularly because you don't need a passport to go to St Croix if you are a US citizen, the Bitter End club might also be worth checking out. Here is another set of recent photos of Bungalows on the Beach St. Croix for all those interested in perhaps making a trip to St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
